Greening of the Tatra Metalurgie foundry

The greening of the Tatra Metalurgie foundry is being carried out in two stages and is divided into a part of the reconstruction of the molding plant and the reconstruction of the melting shop. The object of the project is the reconstruction and greening of the existing part of the production facilities of the foundry itself, modification of the buildings, replacement of the roof cladding and extensive supply of new technologies for the molding, melting, extraction and filtration of exhaust gases, including the connection of the new equipment to the existing units, with the explicit aim of reducing the emissions of particulate pollutants, especially the fine fraction PM2.5. 

In April 2021, KOFING became the General Contractor of this public contract for the greening of the Tatra Metalurgie foundry. Within the framework of this project, we undertook to prepare both the complete design part of the works from the building permit to the actual implementation and production documentation and carry out the actual realization part of the works, which includes the dismantling of existing equipment, construction modifications and work on new foundations for the equipment and the modification of the building itself, and the delivery and installation of the equipment required for forming and melting.
